Berwick Rangers ready for Cowdenbeath encounter

Posted by The Journal on Jan 6, 09 10:43 AM in Sport

Berwick Rangers have only one injury doubt for tonight's re-arranged Division Three match against second-top Cowdenbeath at Central Park.

Stuart Fraser is still suffering from a strained thigh and will have a late fitness test.

Ian Little is ruled out because of suspension but top scorer Darren Gribben has recovered from a bout of flu and will almost certainly lead the attack. Gary Greenhill is fit again after a hamstring injury.

The Borderers have won their last four games and manager Jimmy Crease is hoping they can continue the run, which included the scalp of leaders Stenhousemuir.

Meanwhile, Airdrie have confirmed that Chris McMenamin can continue his loan spell until the end of the season.
