Berwick Rangers cruise into final of City Cup
Berwick cruised into the final of the City Cup where they will meet Lothian Thistle from the East of Scotland league.
Without five of their regulars Berwick made a flying start and were two up in 15 minutes with goals from Chris Anderson and Fraser McLaren.
Although Selkirk battled bravely until the interval they lost another two within five minutes of the restart.
Both were excellent strikes from Ian Little.
Gary Greenhill added a fifth and in the last minute Little completed a hat-trick when substitute Darren Gribben broke through and unselfishly laid the ball off to his colleague who netted easily.
The only black spot for Berwick was a red card for Jamie Ewart who hauled back Selkirk midfielder Gary McShane.
