Crossing study for Berwick High School

Councillors are pressing for a feasibility study to be carried out with a view to providing a new pedestrian controlled crossing and access for vehicles to the high school at Berwick.

And members of the borough council are suggesting to Northumberland County Council that the consultation process should be undertaken as a first stage.

The estimated cost of the work has been put at £150,000.
