Ghost busters called as Berwick holiday park staff get the creeps
A NORTHUMBERLAND holiday park is calling in "ghost busters" after a series of spooky goings-on.

Staff at Haggerston Castle Holiday Park near Berwick say there have been regular sightings of a ghostly young girl in Victorian clothes in the rotunda building and cellars as well as strange, unexplained noises.
Security cameras have also picked up orbs moving across the main ballroom and at least one member of the night security staff has left because of creepy goings-on.
The most recent incident occurred a fortnight ago when employee Rae Huntly was alone behind his desk in the Grade II-listed rotunda, used as a lounge for owners of holiday homes on the park.
He said: "It was about 6.15pm and I was the only one there. I suddenly felt the temperature drop and it got quite chilly. Then the radio came on.
"We normally have it tuned to BBC Radio Newcastle but this was just a buzz. I know there have been sightings of a little girl so I said 'So you want to play then.'
"There was no reply or anything else otherwise I would have been out of there like a shot!"
The investigation, by Ghost-Seekers of Carronshore, Falkirk, will concentrate on the cellar and is due to take place next month.
Mr Huntly, a former Mayor of Berwick, said: "It is being done on a private basis just for our knowledge to see if any explanation can be found for some of the strange things that go on, for instance once a stereo was moved from a shelf and was found on the floor.
"It might make us feel a bit more comfortable if we know who we're sharing our buildings with."
A previous paranormal investigation two and a half years ago focused on the park's tower. Investigators heard metal being dragged across the floor and footsteps running around above them.
The team also spent some time in the cellar but one member refused to go back in after feeling someone breathing down her neck.
The holiday park is located in the grounds of a former estate whose main building was burned down three times following a witch's curse.
The date of the first fire is unknown, but the others were in 1618 and 1911. The curse is said to have been fulfilled although the reason it was imposed is unknown.
