£10,000 set aside for Berwick development plan
COUNCILLORS in Berwick have agreed to allocate £10,000 towards the cost of the preparation of an action plan for the development of part of the town.
They were advised it will lead to a contribution of more than £100,000 from the Government's Regional Development Agency towards the employment of consultants.
The plan will address a number of issues including the protection and enhancement of the town's heritage and cultural assets.
